The NTRO Research Coordinator I position at Moffitt Cancer Center is designed for individuals looking to contribute to non-therapeutic research efforts. Responsibilities

• Screen, identify eligibility, and consent research participants including community-based and clinically-based participants.
• Enter data and other pertinent information into appropriate databases (e.g., Redcap, Power chart, Oncore, sponsor-specific EDC system).
• Ensure the quality of incoming data and adherence to research protocols.
• Document the consent process accurately according to regulatory and Moffitt guidelines.
• Ensure proper specimen collection at the correct time points in collaboration with Tissue Core and other stakeholders.
• Conduct surveys and/or interviews for some studies.
• Update protocols with Principal Investigator's guidance for submission to the Regulatory Specialist.
• Document deviations timely and communicate with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Public Health, Psychology, Biological Sciences, or relevant field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• General knowledge of medical terminology and general computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).

Nice-to-haves

• Direct research experience preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR system (Powerchart) and clinical trial management systems (OnCore) preferred.
• Experience entering data into electronic data capture systems (RedCAP or similar) preferred.
