About the position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is a per diem role focused on integrating scientific knowledge and technical skills to provide quality patient care and diagnostic information. The technologist will administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging and therapy, ensuring high standards of care for patients of all ages while maintaining professional and ethical judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain diagnostic images and provide therapy as ordered by the physician.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality care to pediatric through adult patients using professional and ethical judgment.
  • Complete appropriate continuing education requirements to maintain CNMTB/ARRT certification and stay updated on advances in practice.
  • Work days with evening, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 2 year/Associate Degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience in nuclear medicine.
  • BLS Certification.
  • CNMT Certification.
  • NMTCB certification or Certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine by the ARRT.
  • Certification eligible Nuclear Medicine technologists must be certified and registered (ARRT(N) and/or CNMT) within 6 months of graduation.
