About the position

The Nuclear Med Technologist at Sibley Memorial Hospital is responsible for performing in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides. This role involves dosing patients with radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed, ensuring quality control and assurance, and maintaining accurate data entry in the hospital's information systems. Responsibilities

  • Perform in vivo nuclear medicine procedures using tagged radionuclides.
  • Dose patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals as prescribed by physician's orders.
  • Complete quality control and quality assurance procedures as required by the hospital and NRC license.
  • Ensure complete and accurate data entry in the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS).

Requirements

  • Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or CNMT certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Clinical rotations in an accredited medical imaging program may be considered as experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advance Registration in PET (optional).
  • PET/CT experience.
