The Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist position at Advanced Radiology involves performing high-quality nuclear medicine and PET scans while ensuring excellent patient care. Responsibilities

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients.
• Follow company established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes under the direction of the radiologist.
• Guide patients through the exam process, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Monitor patients' well-being during exams and take appropriate action in case of discomfort or medical problems.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Respect company property and patient financial information.
• Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification
• State Nuclear Medicine License
• Venipuncture certification/permit
• BLS certification
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred
