The Nuclear Medicine Travel Radiology Technologist position in Omaha, Nebraska, offers a 13-week contract for professionals specializing in nuclear medicine. This role involves working closely with nuclear medicine physicians to prepare and administer radioactive compounds, perform imaging procedures, and analyze biological specimens. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radioactive chemical compounds.
  • Perform patient-imaging procedures using radiation-detecting instruments.
  • Conduct computer processing and image enhancement.
  • Analyze biological specimens in the laboratory.
  • Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Assist in developing appropriate care plans for patients.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of recent experience in nuclear medicine.
  • Valid professional license or registration as required by the state.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required.
  • Valid ARRT or ARDMS Credentials per discipline.
  • Additional specialty-related certifications are preferred.
