Nuclear Medicine Technician

About the position

Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform various nuclear medicine and PET procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This position is essential in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients, ensuring that all procedures are conducted safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures according to established protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the administration of nuclear medicine.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree preferred.
• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology Program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine or meets/exceeds the standards of the Joint Review Committee on Education.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required on hire.
• ARRT RT (NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification in good standing.
