About the position

The position involves preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies within a hospital setting. The role emphasizes patient safety and compliance with regulatory requirements while participating in continuous quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
  • Perform and assist with nuclear medicine studies.
  • Ensure patient safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in nuclear medicine.
  • License/Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Certified to practice and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Additional language skills preferred.
