About the position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Mark Twain Medical Center plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care through imaging procedures and computer analysis for medical diagnosis. This position requires a commitment to the core values of Dignity Health and involves working under the direction of a Radiologist/Medical Director while adhering to established departmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures and computer analysis for medical diagnosis under the direction of the Radiologist/Medical Director.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values of Dignity Health.
• Participate actively in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.
• Provide patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Currently registered and certified with the State of California Radiologic Health Branch and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
• CPR certified.
• Minimum of one-year clinical experience in a hospital nuclear medicine department.
• High School graduate with satisfactory completion of an AMA approved program in Nuclear Technology.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred one year of Pet/CT experience.
