About the position

The Nuclear Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project teams and ensuring the successful completion of projects within the nuclear sector. This role requires a strong technical background and experience in project management, focusing on maintaining project efficiency and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project teams of one to five people, including planning, scheduling, and control of project and program activities
• Act as a specialist for specific projects with detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects
• Maintain a knowledge base of new developments and technology
• Monitor projects and recommend changes to improve operating efficiency
• Develop budgetary estimates
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate project risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 1+ years of experience in project management
• Commercial nuclear experience required
• Strong technical background in nuclear energy
• Experience in coordinating project teams
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have the right to work in the United States

Nice-to-haves

• PMP certification preferred
