Nulo Pet Food is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our team as Brand Ambassadors in Del Mar, CA. As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in promoting Nulo's premium pet foods by engaging with customers in Petco and PetSmart stores. This part-time position offers flexible hours, typically ranging from 16 to 24 hours per week, with shifts available from Thursday through Sunday. In this role, you will be responsible for sharing the benefits of Nulo's products and encouraging customers to switch to our premium offerings for their dogs and cats. Your performance will be measured by the sales results of Nulo within the stores you work. We are looking for individuals who possess excellent interpersonal skills, allowing them to communicate effectively and engage with pet parents in a friendly and persuasive manner. Empathy and attentiveness are key, as you will be listening to customers' personal pet stories and asking meaningful questions to show genuine care for their experiences. The ideal candidate will have a goal-oriented mindset and a proactive attitude towards professional growth, actively seeking coaching and continuous development. While a sales background is beneficial, it is not a requirement; we value keen social skills, a passion for pets, and a strong work ethic. Your responsibilities will include engaging with pet parents, applying product knowledge to guide them in selecting suitable Nulo products, and creating lasting impressions by expressing gratitude for their time and stories. This role emphasizes building connections with pet parents and demonstrating how Nulo products can enhance their bond with their pets.

Responsibilities

• Engage with pet parents in meaningful conversations to establish rapport.
• Proactively involve pet parents by actively listening to their stories and experiences with their pets.
• Recognize and understand the individual aspects that make each pet parent's bond with their pets unique.
• Apply product knowledge to effectively communicate how Nulo products can enhance the connection between pet parents and their pets.
• Guide and assist pet parents in selecting the most suitable Nulo products for their pet's needs.
• Create lasting impressions by expressing gratitude to pet parents for sharing their stories and demonstrating care for their pets.

Requirements

• Must love pets and appreciate the importance of premium nutrition.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
• Must be able to stand/walk a minimum of 4 consecutive hours.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to surrounding locations within a 20-mile radius.
• Must have an active e-mail account and daily computer access.
