About the position

The Nurse Account Manager at Guardian Pharmacy of Dallas-Fort Worth is responsible for leading a team of nurse account managers to achieve business goals through client retention, sales growth, and strong customer relationships. This role involves providing clinical assistance, regulatory support, and education to clients in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, while ensuring superior delivery of pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee training and orientation for customers during facility implementation.
  • Ensure new service transitions are error-free and seamless.
  • Develop and conduct training materials for facilities and staff.
  • Monitor service levels during site visits and report issues.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare and pharmacy industry standards.
  • Assist customers with action plans to minimize risks in facilities.
  • Conduct mock surveys and assist customers with the survey process.
  • Plan and execute family communication programs with the marketing team.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new staff effectively.
  • Oversee scheduling and assignment of Nurse Account Managers (NAMs).
  • Perform annual performance reviews for staff and monitor their performance.
  • Coordinate employee disciplinary processes and ensure resolution.
  • Process payroll for NAMs and ensure documentation in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing on annual plans.
  • Assist in vaccination clinics and projects.

Requirements

  • Nursing Degree (RN) required; LPN considered with relevant experience.
  • Active State Nursing license required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • 5+ years of related experience in long-term care pharmacy or institutional patient care setting.
  • Previous team management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with minimal direction.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in long-term care pharmacy and/or institutional patient care setting.
  • Previous experience with team management in a healthcare setting.
