About the position

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in providing excellent patient care.
• Provide personal care, including bathing and hygiene for patients.
• Participate in patient admission, dismissal, and transfer processes.
• Contribute to the documentation of patient data accurately and timely.
• Monitor patients at bedside or remotely to promote safety and maintain privacy.
• Encourage patients to participate in their daily activities and care plans.
• Report safety concerns and health issues to the nursing staff.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training for professional growth.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from the South Dakota Board of Nursing preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to perform very heavy work, including lifting over 25 pounds constantly and more than 100 pounds occasionally.
