Responsibilities
- Administer general and regional anesthesia to patients.
- Provide monitored anesthesia care for surgical procedures.
- Manage anesthesia for ASA Class I, II, III, IV, and V patients.
- Collaborate with surgical teams during invasive diagnostic or surgical procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Graduate of a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA) accredited school of nurse anesthesia education.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner-Nurse Anesthetist in Virginia.
- Current certification or recertification as a practicing nurse anesthetist by the NBCRNA.
- Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
