About the position
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Same Day Surgery Center, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, patient-focused care in collaboration with anesthesiologists. This position emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and mutual respect, allowing you to make a significant impact on patient outcomes in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess anesthesia care to ensure quality and positive patient outcomes.
- Respond to unexpected or increased needs in the surgery area.
- Formulate patient-specific plans for anesthesia care and obtain informed consent.
- Implement and adjust anesthesia care plans during the peri-operative period based on patient responses.
- Monitor patients' physiological conditions as appropriate for the type of anesthesia and specific patient needs.
- Perform thorough and complete pre-anesthesia assessments.
- Carry out all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification from American Heart Association (AHA).
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification from South Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification from American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification from South Dakota Board of Nursing.
Nice-to-haves
