Nurse Anesthetist - Same Day Surgery Center

About the position

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Same Day Surgery Center, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, patient-focused care in a collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include the delivery and management of anesthesia services for surgical patients, working closely with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

• Assess anesthesia care to ensure quality and positive patient outcomes.
• Respond to unexpected or increased needs in the surgery area.
• Formulate patient-specific plans for anesthesia care and obtain informed consent.
• Implement and adjust anesthesia care plans during the peri-operative period based on patient responses.
• Monitor patients' physiological conditions as appropriate for the type of anesthesia and specific patient needs.
• Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification from American Heart Association (AHA).
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification from South Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification from AHA.
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification from South Dakota Board of Nursing.

Nice-to-haves
