As a Nurse Educator, you will play a crucial role in elevating patient care by utilizing best-in-class operating and clinical models. You will have a life-changing impact on our Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (DSNP) members, who are enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid and face a variety of complex health and social challenges. Your compassionate attention and excellent communication skills will be essential as you collaborate with members, providers, and community organizations to address the full continuum of our members' health care and social determinant needs. In this role, you will support the training and compliance monitoring of the DSNP/MMP Management team. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits of current processes, reports, and procedures to identify areas for improvement and resolve issues. You will develop and conduct ongoing staff training based on workflow needs and the outcomes of clinical audits. Additionally, you will implement a comprehensive training program for new hires in the department, ensuring that training programs increase role-specific consistencies and efficiencies related to process workflows. You will measure the outcomes of clinical staff training and identify key findings to ensure effective alignment of training content and delivery methods with business objectives and staff performance requirements. Ongoing qualitative and quantitative analysis using organizational performance measurements will be part of your responsibilities to ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate policy. You will also assist with the onboarding and training of newly hired staff, making this a pivotal role in our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the training and compliance monitoring of the DSNP/MMP Management team.
  • Conduct audits of current processes, reports, and procedures to identify process improvements and issue resolutions.
  • Develop and conduct ongoing staff training based on workflow needs and outcomes of clinical audits.
  • Implement a comprehensive training program for department new hires.
  • Increase role-specific consistencies and efficiencies related to process workflows through training programs.
  • Measure outcomes of clinical staff training and identify key findings for effective alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide ongoing qualitative and quantitative analysis using organizational performance measurements to ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate policy.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of newly hired staff.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted and active RN licensure required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a hospital setting (preferably Med/Surge).
  • 3+ years of experience in a managed care clinical operation environment (utilization management, case management, and/or behavioral health case management) required.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ year of DSNP/MMP experience required.
  • Previous Managed Care experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence working at home/independent thinker, using tools to collaborate and connect with teams virtually.
  • Ability to use standard corporate software packages and corporate applications.
