About the position
The Nurse Educator for PACE/Elderplace at Providence is a hybrid role that combines remote work with travel to various sites. This position is responsible for providing expertise and serving as a role model, consultant, and educator to staff and leaders within the Providence PACE and Housing programs. The Clinical Educator will develop and implement a staff development program aligned with the Providence Mission and PACE philosophy, focusing on enhancing care and services through robust onboarding and ongoing learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise and serve as a role model, consultant, and educator to staff and leaders.
- Develop a staff development program based on the Providence Mission and PACE philosophy.
- Support Core Leaders and staff to enhance care and services.
- Implement a robust onboarding process for new staff.
- Facilitate ongoing learning opportunities for staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- 3 years of experience in inpatient, home health, hospice, or long-term care
- 1 year of experience in nursing or healthcare education and curriculum development
- Experience with clinical review and audit activities
- Experience in infection control activities.
