About the position
The position involves providing and documenting care to patients under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, and other Staff Nurses. The role requires creating a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment for patients. The candidate will participate as a team member to ensure appropriate resources are available to all internal and external customers. The responsibilities also include carrying out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment to Houston Healthcare.

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Currently enrolled in the last year of an accredited registered nursing program or a graduate of an accredited registered nursing program who has not taken boards.
- Must have passed boards within 6 months of graduation.
- Proof of 2.5 GPA and must remain in good standing with the nursing school.
- Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
- Ability to utilize standard office equipment and diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment.
- Ability to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc.
- Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
