About the position

Fast Pace Health is seeking a highly-skilled Nurse (LPN or RN) to join their team, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and encouraging environment. The role focuses on delivering clinical and administrative support under the supervision of healthcare providers, while promoting teamwork, communication, and quality care in rural communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support essential for effective patient care under the direct supervision of a Provider, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant.
• Deliver outstanding patient service while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere.
• Triage patients by checking vitals, performing blood draws, and administering injections.
• Observe patients, chart changes in conditions, and report any adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
• Assist with lab testing and phlebotomy, and prepare for minor procedures and physicals.
• Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and arrange referrals to specialists as directed by the Provider.
• Maintain friendly relations with all clients and employees, fostering a positive work atmosphere.
• Perform federal and non-federal DOT, BAT, and Drug Screen exams.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the office and assist with other team members to achieve a professional appearance.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an LPN/RN preferred in a clinic setting, preferably urgent care.
• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) - State or Compact License.
