About the position

The Nurse Manager Surgical Services at Reston Hospital Center is responsible for overseeing the Surgical Services Department, which includes managing the Pre-Op, PACU, Phase II, PAT, and OR units. Responsibilities

• Manage tactical activities in the Surgical Services Department including Pre-Op, PACU, Phase II, PAT, and OR units.
• Oversee supplies, equipment, processes, charges, and staff to support surgical patients and specialties.
• Participate in resource allocation activities for daily and projected needs.
• Provide guidance to supply chain regarding supply and equipment demand changes.
• Implement and comply with unit, hospital, and regulatory standards.
• Accountable for performance metrics related to surgical service lines.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
• Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) certification
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Senior level experience in surgical services management.
