About the position
Kadlec Clinic is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant with Hematology Oncology experience to join their collaborative and supportive team. This role involves working in a well-established QOPI certified clinic, providing care to oncology patients in a state-of-the-art facility. The position offers a 4-day work week and emphasizes provider collaboration and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to oncology patients as an advanced practice provider.
- Collaborate with physicians and other nurse practitioners in a team-oriented environment.
- Participate in research and tumor boards.
- Utilize private treatment bays and procedure rooms in the infusion units.
Requirements
- 1-2 years clinical experience providing care to oncology patients as an advanced practice provider.
- New graduates with significant oncology nursing experience are also welcome to apply.
- Experience in a QOPI certified clinic is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with the ASCO Nurse Practitioner training program.
- Familiarity with cancer center accreditations such as COC, QOPI, NAPRC, NAPBC, and ASTRO.
