About the position

The Nurse Practitioner (APRN) position is a part-time, field-based role focused on providing clinical testing and rehabilitation services to patients in multiple OBGYN offices. The role involves working closely with patients in pelvic health evaluation and rehabilitation therapy, while also serving as a liaison between patients and OBGYN physicians. The position requires local travel to various locations within North Carolina and emphasizes the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to multiple OBGYN offices to provide therapy services.
  • Operate and maintain company-provided diagnostic and therapy equipment.
  • Provide encouragement and feedback to OBGYN patients.
  • Assign at-home therapy as per treatment protocol.
  • Act as a liaison to OBGYN physicians and staff contracted with CHS.
  • Organize daily activities to provide services to multiple locations.
  • Report client needs to sales and management staff in a timely manner.
  • Consult with OBGYN physicians regarding patient progress and follow-up.
  • Attend staff meetings to provide feedback on service levels.
  • Build relationships with CHS clients to promote healthy client relationships.
  • Complete equipment and company training programs within the required timeframe.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all regulations and policies.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed APRN in the state of practice.
  • 2-5 years nursing experience, preferably in OBGYN, Labor and Delivery, or Physical Therapy.
  • Valid state driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Comfortable in an OBGYN setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in pelvic health evaluation and rehabilitation.
  • Ability to manage relationships with OBGYN and other practices.
  • Willingness to learn new technology and equipment.
