Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioner.
• Master's degree in nursing.
• Certification as a nurse practitioner.
• Current California licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Provider number (NPI) is required.
• Eligible to apply for furnishing and DEA license to prescribe medications.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as an acute care Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner.
