About the position

The UCHealth Parkview Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner for the Nocturnist position, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care during night shifts. This role emphasizes a patient-first mentality and requires collaboration within a diverse and inclusive team. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for rounding, discharging, and admitting patients, as well as responding to rapid-response team calls, all while maintaining high standards of excellence and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on patients during night shifts.
• Discharging and admitting patients as needed.
• Responding to rapid-response team calls.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the ANCC or AANPCB.
• Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing or compact privileges.
• Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
• Full prescriptive authority.
• Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications.
• Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
