The UCHealth Women's Clinic team in Colorado Springs is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner who embodies empathy, talent, and a patient-first mentality. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care to patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure a patient-first approach.
• Balance multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical practices and procedures in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
• Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing or compact privileges under the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement.
• Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
• Full prescriptive authority and unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit.
• Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Nice-to-haves

• 2-5 years of experience in Obstetrical and Gynecologic services is preferred.
