About the position
Bethany Medical, the largest independent multi-specialty group in Central North Carolina, is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a busy outpatient practice, focusing on primary care, urgent care, and pain management services. The position emphasizes building relationships with patients and delivering excellent clinical care while maintaining confidentiality and continuity of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in the provision of continuity of care.
- Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
- Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
- AANP or NCCPA Certification.
- Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
