About the position
Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Otolaryngology team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This full-time position primarily involves outpatient care with some inpatient responsibilities, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care in Otolaryngology with inpatient privileges.
- Manage pre-op, post-op, and discharge responsibilities at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
- Participate in daytime call from 7 am to 5 pm with reduced clinic time.
- Handle night call one night per week and weekend call six weekends per year.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
