About the position

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established Sleep Medicine Practice. This role involves providing comprehensive care to both adult and pediatric patients across multiple locations in Idaho and Oregon, addressing the increasing demand for sleep services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up evaluations for patients referred for Sleep consultation
• Follow-through on physician's plan of care
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and labs
• Prescribe appropriate treatment and conduct patient education
• Provide assistance in clinic phone triage and referral triage
• Assist in prescription refills and general clinic coverage when other providers are not in clinic

Requirements

• Successful completion of NP or PA Graduate Program (Masters Level)
• AANP or ANCC certification for Nurse Practitioners
• NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants
• Current, unrestricted license in Idaho and expectation to obtain Oregon license
• Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
• 2 years experience as a Sleep Medicine Provider preferred
