About the position

Deep Relief is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team, focusing on functional and regenerative medicine. The ideal candidate will provide a holistic approach to patient care, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with chronic pain and various health issues. This part-time role offers the opportunity to grow into a full-time position, emphasizing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with chronic pain, fatigue, and various health issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate holistic approaches aimed at alleviating pain and addressing underlying causes of chronic conditions through functional and regenerative medicine.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including chiropractors, massage therapists, and acupuncturists, to provide cohesive patient care.
• Perform joint injections, trigger point injections, PRP, and other regenerative procedures as necessary.
• Order and assess laboratory tests as needed.
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment options, emphasizing lifestyle changes and preventive care strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in functional, orthopedic, and regenerative medicine practices, as well as holistic care modalities.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Foster a supportive environment that promotes mental and physical well-being for patients seeking pain relief.

Requirements

• Valid nurse practitioner license in Texas.
• Experience drawing blood required for PRP draws.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably with a focus on adult or family health.
• Experience in functional medicine, orthopedics, and regenerative medicine, including previous roles in outpatient or holistic care settings.
• Knowledge and experience in IV nutrition therapies, massage, and acupuncture is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in functional medicine and regenerative medicine (will train).
• Knowledge of IV nutrition therapies.
