Responsibilities
- Provide mental health services in accordance with site-specific protocols and standards of care.
- Treat patients with various adult psychopathologies.
- Work independently while being part of a psychiatric team.
- Receive supervision and training from a psychiatrist.
- Participate in monthly case conferences and journal reviews.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and psychotherapists.
- Work alongside a medical assistant for administrative support.
- Utilize integrated EHR technology for patient management.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a valid medical license.
- Graduation from an accredited physician assistant educational program.
- Passed the national certification examination for Physician Assistants.
- Current and valid certifications necessary for duties.
- Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry is desired.
