About the position

Rhino Medical Services is actively seeking exceptional Nurse Practitioners (NPs) licensed in New Jersey to join our locum tenens roster for a unique opportunity in the state. This position is specifically for those with First Assist experience in surgical settings. As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will be involved in various surgical procedures, including general, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, serving as the first assist. This is a full-time position with flexible shift times, allowing for either day or night shifts, specifically from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. In this role, you will not have outpatient responsibilities, focusing instead on surgical procedures with a patient load ranging from 3 to 15 encounters per day. You will be working with a diverse patient population, including those requiring pain management, eye care, general surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, thoracic surgery, urology, and neurosurgery. It is essential that candidates are board certified and possess an active New Jersey State License along with an unrestricted DEA certification. Candidates must also hold certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). A minimum of 1-2 years of recent First Assist experience is required to ensure that the selected candidates are well-prepared for the demands of this role. Responsibilities

Requirements
