About the position
Nexus Wound Consultants is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide advanced wound care to patients in their homes across multiple states. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor, with a commitment to high-quality patient care and innovative treatment methods.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced wound care to patients in various settings including skilled nursing facilities and private residences.
- Manage a patient load of 30-35 patients per week for full-time providers, with a transition from part-time to full-time based on patient census.
- Utilize advanced technology such as Ultramist for effective wound treatment.
- Handle patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Valid APRN/Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Florida.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in wound care.
- Commitment to providing high-quality wound care.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with biologic patches and Ultramist technology.
- Ability to travel for initial training.
