Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and diagnose health conditions.
• Provide direct patient care, estimated at 95% of the time.
• Manage clinic appointments and follow-up on labs/imaging/procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and consult with hospitalists and intensivists.
• Document health appraisal information and clinical assessments using CPRS.
• Order medications and referrals as needed for patient care.

Requirements

• Must have a current unencumbered license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
• Must be a Citizen of the United States.
• Must be currently certified in VHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Must be Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within the last five years.
