About the position
The Nurse Practitioner position at our Integrated Medical practice in Gainesville, GA, focuses on diagnosing and treating musculo-skeletal disorders. The role requires a compassionate individual dedicated to patient well-being, with responsibilities that include performing evaluations, prescribing treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical evaluations including orthopedic tests where appropriate.
- Order and review physical medicine diagnostic tests such as MRIs and NCVs.
- Prescribe Physical Therapy and/or Chiropractic care as needed.
- Prescribe medication as necessary and appropriate.
- Perform minor procedures such as Trigger Point Injections, Joint Injections, and PRP as needed.
- Work in conjunction with other practitioners to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Complete medical documentation.
Requirements
- Must have a current GA Nurse Practitioner license.
- Orthopedic experience is preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Must have a Master's degree.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Primary care is preferred.
