About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team at OmniSpine Pain Management. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans for a diverse patient population. This role involves working collaboratively with pain management physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery, including managing opioid therapy and ordering interventional pain management procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  • Perform specimen collection and processing as needed for diagnostic testing.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
  • Manage chronic conditions, including dementia care, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place.
  • Respond to emergency situations with appropriate medical interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes across various settings, including pediatrics and internal medicine.
  • Utilize telehealth technologies to provide remote consultations when necessary.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner certification with relevant state licensure.
  • Experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of physiology and medical protocols related to patient care is essential.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality is crucial.
