Responsibilities
- Rounding and managing clinical care of the population at assigned SNFs.
- Prescribing medications and treatments for residents in SNFs.
- Providing high-quality, patient-centered, comprehensive primary care services.
- Timely documentation of all patient care encounters in the electronic health record system.
- Available for phone/secure messaging consultations with facility nursing staff.
- Ensuring on-time attendance for scheduled shifts.
Requirements
- Medical licensure to practice as a healthcare provider.
- Experience in providing primary care services in a clinical setting.
- Ability to use electronic health record systems, preferably ChartEasy™, PointClickCare, MatrixCare, or American HealthTech.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various SNFs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with conversational and Dragon dictation for documentation.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies.
