About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our med spa team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform diagnostic evaluations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians. This role requires a strong understanding of medical documentation, patient management, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine health status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform procedures such as IV insertion.
• Provide telehealth consultations to enhance access to care for patients.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.
• Assist weight loss patients with treatment plans and ongoing care.
• Conduct consultations, order patient lab work, and interpret results.
• Provide comprehensive hormone evaluation and treatment plan.
• Administer intramuscular injections.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
• Proficiency in IV insertion and other clinical skills.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and med spa team.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care.
