About the position
The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) at Stonington Institute will play a crucial role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to clients dealing with substance abuse issues. Responsibilities
- Interface with an inter-disciplinary team of clinicians, nurses, and mental health support staff.
- Ensure client-centered, evidence-based, high-quality behavioral health services are provided.
- Participate in the treatment planning and implementation for clients.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding treatment options.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in nursing with a current State of Connecticut License.
- Minimum of one year experience working in the Mental Health or Substance Abuse field preferred.
- Commitment to client-centered care and compassionate practice.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
