About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at WindsorMeade Williamsburg is a PRN role focused on providing high-quality nursing care to residents. The RN will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating care during assigned shifts, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring continuity of care. Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain continuity of care for residents.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate all care during assigned shifts.
• Supervise, interpret performance, counsel, and direct CNAs.
• Act as a role model and effective team member to stimulate growth and harmony among co-workers.
• Administer medications according to regulations and established policies.
• Maintain and revise nursing care plans for assigned residents.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned geriatric certified nursing assistants.
• Record required information in the Report Book and Nurses' Notes.
• Assess resident injuries and render first aid or make decisions for appropriate referrals.
• Encourage motivation, socialization, and rehabilitation of residents.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or degree.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• CPR/AED certification.
• 2+ years of nursing experience.
