About the position

Responsibilities
- Provides clinical nursing services including assessments, injections, medication assistance, and lab tests.
- Completes necessary paperwork according to policy and procedure.
- Communicates with medical staff to ensure coordinated treatment for individuals.
- Assists and supports individuals in crisis situations using professional judgment.
- Educates individuals and their support systems on medications, nutrition, and mental health.
- Engages in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to develop individualized service plans.
- Maintains professional boundaries with consumers and families.
- Adheres to safety and infection control guidelines and completes necessary reports.
- Maintains the Nursing Office according to policy and procedure.
Requirements
- Licensed as an LPN or RN in the State of Georgia.
- 1-2 years of experience in Mental Health nursing.
- Ability to communicate effectively and calmly with sensitivity and tact.
