About the position

The RN Supervisor at Genesis Healthcare plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Nursing by ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care and achieving positive clinical outcomes. This part-time position involves leading and directing clinical operations on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a collaborative work environment. The RN Supervisor is also responsible for staff recruitment, mentoring, and maintaining adequate nursing staff to provide safe care.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient and effective nursing care.
• Lead, guide, and direct clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of care delivery models and processes.
• Mentor nursing staff and coordinate communication with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff levels.
• Participate in staff recruitment and new hire orientation.
• Make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
