About the position

The Nurse Supervisor at Regency at Troy is responsible for overseeing nursing care and health education for residents in a skilled nursing facility. This role involves planning, coordinating, and managing nursing services while ensuring high-quality care and effective communication among the nursing staff. Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems.
• Assesses and evaluates systems that facilitate the delivery of quality resident care and staff performance.
• Uses a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.
• Contributes to the Resident's assessment (MDS/CAA's) and the development of a plan of care.
• Develops a plan of care based on assessment and implements nursing care.
• Evaluates the Resident's responses to nursing interventions.
• Knows the rationale for the effect of medications and treatments and administers them correctly.

Requirements

• Current state license to practice as a nurse, RN or LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Management or supervisory experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
