About The Position
EvergreenHealth is seeking Nurse Technicians for our Progressive Care Unit. Candidates for this position must be a nursing student currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a school of nursing program and have completed at least one acute care hospital clinical rotation. The Nurse Technician is a student enrolled in a school of nursing who provides individualized care to patients. Functions under the direct supervision of an assigned registered nurse and within the scope of practice that the supervising registered nurse has determined is appropriate. The scope of practice is based on the education and skills of the Nurse Technician and defined by the Washington Administrative Code (WAC). May assist with general clinical responsibilities that contribute directly and indirectly to patient care; working with other members of the healthcare team to provide continuity of care.
