About the position
The Nurse-Unit Manager Director RN at Genesis Administrative Services LLC is responsible for overseeing the operations and delivery of high-quality nursing care within an assigned unit. This role supports the Director of Nursing in achieving positive clinical outcomes and ensuring patient, family, and employee satisfaction. The position emphasizes collaboration with healthcare professionals and adherence to regulatory standards, while fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.
- Lead and direct the overall operations of nursing and patient/resident care for the assigned unit.
- Ensure care delivery aligns with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Genesis HealthCare.
- Collaborate with staff, physicians, and rehabilitation therapy to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage human resources within the unit, including staff recruitment, orientation, and performance assessment.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
