About the position
TotalWellness is seeking independent contractors, including nurses, phlebotomists, medical assistants, EMTs, and paramedics, to work at health screenings and vaccination events. This per diem role allows healthcare professionals to supplement their income by choosing shifts that fit their schedules, focusing on promoting health and wellness among employees at various corporate events.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health screenings and vaccination events as needed.
- Administer biometric screenings including blood pressure, finger stick, height/weight measurements, and BMI.
- Provide vaccinations (for nurses only).
- Engage with employees to promote healthy habits and wellness initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical/medical experience.
- Active nursing license/certifications.
- Proficient in biometric screening skills.
- Comfortable using computers and iPads.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Nice-to-haves
- Venipuncture skills (not required).
