About the position
TotalWellness is seeking independent contractors for health screenings and vaccination events. This per diem role is ideal for nurses, phlebotomists, medical assistants, EMTs, or paramedics looking to supplement their income with flexible shifts that fit their schedules.
Responsibilities
- Conduct biometric screenings including manual blood pressure, finger stick, height/weight measurements, and BMI calculations.
- Administer vaccinations as required.
- Participate in health screenings and vaccination events at various locations.
- Provide positive health messaging to employees during wellness events.
Requirements
- Proficient in biometric screening skills.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical/medical experience.
- Active nursing license/certifications.
- Comfortable with computer and iPad usage.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Nice-to-haves
- Venipuncture skills.
