About the position

TotalWellness is seeking independent contractors for health screenings and vaccination events. This per diem role is ideal for nurses, phlebotomists, medical assistants, EMTs, or paramedics looking to supplement their income with flexible shifts that fit their schedules. The position focuses on promoting health and wellness among employees at various corporate events.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biometric screenings including blood pressure, height/weight measurements, and BMI assessments.
• Administer vaccinations as required (nurses only).
• Provide health education and support to employees during wellness events.
• Utilize computer and iPad for data entry and reporting.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods during events.

Requirements

• Proficient in biometric screening skills such as manual blood pressure and finger stick.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical/medical experience required.
• Active nursing or medical certifications/licenses.
• Comfortable using computers and iPads for data entry.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Nice-to-haves

• Venipuncture skills are a plus but not required.
