About The Position

The Nursing Assistant position at Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers involves providing essential hands-on assistance to members in a long-term care setting during the evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Requirements

• Minimum of one year of current experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA requirements.
• C.N.A. or HHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and Society members to ensure efficient care delivery based on member, unit, and facility needs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment for the members.
• Support the Maryknoll vision and mission in all aspects of care.
• Utilize knowledge of member's age and cultural diversity in the provision of care.
• Relay pertinent information to hospital personnel and communicate with the Nurse Supervisor/Nurse regarding care and staff when relieved.
• Ensure the safety of Society members, assist with their needs, and advocate for them.
