About the position

The Clinical Associate (CA) at AdventHealth plays a vital role in the patient care team, providing direct patient care and supporting the healthcare team under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This position is essential for ensuring optimal patient care and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. The CA is responsible for various duties that align with their competency level, contributing to the overall well-being of patients and the efficiency of the healthcare team. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a commitment to exceptional service, ensuring that all patients, customers, and team members receive the highest standard of care. The CA will also uphold principles of infection control and promote a positive atmosphere within the healthcare setting. This position is part-time, primarily during night shifts, and is located at AdventHealth South Overland Park, which serves the southeastern Johnson County community with a range of healthcare services, including emergency care and physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of the patient care team.
• Assist with assigned duties as designated by competency level.
• Maintain a clean patient care environment and uphold infection control principles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association.
• CNA License or enrollment in an RN program.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 to 2 years of position-related experience.
