About the position
This position involves working closely with physicians and nurses to provide advanced primary and specialty nursing services. The role focuses on supporting patients through various activities, ensuring a positive experience for both patients and their families by demonstrating teamwork, collaboration, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Supports nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assists patients with daily activities.
- Serves and collects food trays and provides between-meal nourishment.
- Changes bed linen, runs errands and prepares and sterilizes treatment trays and supplies.
- Transports patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests, or examinations.
- Measures and records patients' vital signs such as temperature or pulse and provides basic treatment.
- Ensures a safe care environment for the patients and their families.
- Performs continuous rounds and check-ins throughout the shift to ensure patient and family needs are met.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing or patient care role.
- Ability to assist with daily living activities and provide basic patient care.
